@Dusk_Foundation Something small caught my attention while I was checking activity on Dusk today.
A transaction showed as settled, but I couldn't see as much information around it as I expected.
At first, I thought the explorer was simply behind.
So I waited and checked again.
The transaction was still valid. The network looked fine. There was no obvious sign that anything had gone wrong.
That made me rethink what I was actually looking for.
I'm used to transparent blockchains where seeing more details usually makes me feel more confident about what happened.
But Dusk made me notice the difference between knowing that a transaction is valid and knowing every detail about that transaction.
Those aren't necessarily the same thing.
The interesting part was that nothing had failed. The network hadn't behaved strangely. I was simply uncomfortable because I couldn't see everything I was used to seeing.
And maybe that's one of the biggest adjustments with privacy-focused infrastructure.
You don't necessarily trust the outcome because every detail is exposed.
You trust it because the system gives you other ways to verify that the outcome is legitimate.
That changes how you think about transparency, too.
