In other words, Ethereum scaling could actually create more demand for the overall Ethereum ecosystem, rather than simply eliminating Layer 2s.

🌍 Ethereum’s Bigger Vision

Ethereum is no longer focused only on being a smart-contract blockchain.

The roadmap increasingly points toward Ethereum becoming a global settlement and computing infrastructure capable of supporting billions of users and enormous transaction volumes.

Privacy, account abstraction, censorship resistance, quantum security and scalability are not isolated upgrades. Together, they address some of the biggest barriers preventing blockchain technology from becoming mainstream financial infrastructure.
