CHRONICLES OF A NEW TRADER:
I almost missed a good trade because I was scared.
And honestly, I didn't expect that from myself.
When I started trading futures, I wasn't this scared. I could enter a setup , manage my risk, and accept whatever happened.
But after I became comfortable with spot trading, something changed.
I saw a good setup on RSR for a short, and instead of taking it, I became scared.
I kept thinking, What if it goes against me? What if I lose money?
And I started asking myself, when did I become this afraid to trade?
The funny thing is, the market didn't change.
I changed.
I became too comfortable with spot and started losing the confidence I had when I first started trading futures.
But I'm learning something now.
Being confident doesn't mean entering every trade.
And being cautious doesn't mean being afraid of every trade.
It's about having a plan, managing your risk, and being okay with the fact that some trades will simply not work out.
So I'm trying to find that balance again.
I'm not an expert. I'm still learning.
And that's exactly what I want to document here â the good trades, the bad trades, the fear, the mistakes, and everything I'm learning along the way.
Maybe someone else is also trying to find their confidence again.
So let's see where this journey takes me. đđ
