#baby caught my attention today for more than just the price action. Around 56,853 BTC is now secured in Babylon Genesis vaults, showing how much confidence Bitcoin holders are placing in the network. The growth is impressive, but I started looking beyond the TVL.

One thing stood out: BTC helps secure the protocol and earns rewards, yet it doesn't participate in governance. Decisions about upgrades, protocol parameters, and future direction remain with #BABY holders and their delegates. That creates a clear separation between network security and governance.

I actually think the dual-asset design makes sense from a technical perspective, but it also raises an interesting question. Will Bitcoin stakers always remain passive contributors, or could they eventually have a voice in shaping the protocol they help secure?

Curious to hear what others think. @BabylonLabs_io #baby $BABY
