I’m always curious when a project gives Bitcoin a new purpose instead of creating another trend. Babylon (BABY) is trying to let BTC help secure Proof-of-Stake blockchains while it stays on the Bitcoin network. They’re focused on self-custody, so users don't have to hand over their coins to a bridge or custodian.
If the idea works, Bitcoin becomes more than a store of value—it becomes part of the security behind other networks. We’re still early, and adoption will decide its future, but it's an interesting step toward making Bitcoin useful in a much bigger ecosystem.
