Trump recounted a recent voting experience in Florida where a poll worker nervously asked him for ID despite recognizing him.

"Sir, may I please see your identification? I'm so embarrassed. I know you're Trump! Please, do you have some identification? I don't want to lose my job!" the worker reportedly said.

Trump said he happened to have a card on him and praised the worker: "Don't apologize. You're doing your job. That's what you're SUPPOSED to be doing."

The anecdote comes as voter ID requirements remain a flashpoint in election integrity debates.
