"Thankful to the Binance team because of which my money was saved.
I placed an order of PKR 50,000 to buy USDT. After making the payment, I was told to release it to the seller. He called me on WhatsApp and said: "USDT isn't with me yet, first cancel the order then I'll return the money."
At that time, I was busy with personal work, and the seller was a verified merchant, so I trusted him, canceled the order, and he only sent back PKR 30,000. When I demanded the remaining 20k, he started making excuses. Then he said: "Send 30k more, then I'll send the full 50k USDT on-chain."
I immediately reported to Binance support, sent all the proof. Within 30 minutes, a response came and the merchant's account has been frozen. Within just 24 hours, my full money came back into my Binance wallet.
This incident taught me 2 lessons:
1. Never cancel a P2P order after making payment. 2. Use trusted exchanges where there is strong support."
Let me know if you have such experiences write it down in comment section $BTC #P2PScamAwareness #scam #p2ppakistan

“P2P Scams in Pakistan: A Growing Danger”
Peer-to-peer (P2P) scams are becoming common in Pakistan. These scams happen when people send or receive money directly using mobile apps or online platforms.
A popular trick is sending fake screenshots of payments. Scammers send these to sellers and ask for the product. The seller believes they got paid and gives the item, but the money never arrives.
Many scammers use friendly messages to build trust. They act like real buyers or sellers and rush people into quick deals, giving them no time to double-check.
One big reason these scams work is because many people do not fully understand how digital payments work. This makes it easier for scammers to fool them.
To stop these scams, people must learn how to stay safe online. Banks, apps, and websites should also help by checking for fake users.
Together, we can protect ourselves and others from these growing online dangers.
