Everyone is chasing the next AI breakthrough. I'm watching the infrastructure that proves AI can actually be trusted.

That's where OpenGradient (OPG) caught my attention.

After the Upbit listing, most people focused on price and volume. I think that part is already behind us. The bigger question now is whether OpenGradient can turn all that attention into real developer activity. Exchange listings create visibility, but infrastructure projects only grow when builders keep showing up.

What makes OPG interesting to me is HACA. Instead of making every node run expensive AI workloads, it separates AI computation from verification, making results faster, cheaper and cryptographically verifiable. If more developers build on top of that system, network usage naturally follows.

Right now I see a gap between hype and execution. The market is still reacting to the AI narrative, while the real value depends on adoption. Personally, I think proving AI can be trusted could matter more than simply making AI smarter.

If AI starts handling real money and on-chain decisions...

Will people care more about smarter models?

Or about knowing those models can actually be verified?
