🔥 Ripple Exec Exposes What’s Truly Sending Bitcoin Prices to the Moon!

Chief Technology Officer (CTO) David Schwartz of Ripple explained why Bitcoin, the most costly cryptocurrency, stays so expensive. Schwartz's comments triggered crypto community debates. He discussed how consumers interpret and utilize BTC in transactions, exposing a basic economic reality that explains the market's sustained trust in the world's largest cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin Price Rise Explained by Ripple CTO
Schwartz discussed X on Tuesday, explaining Bitcoin's surge in price with simplicity yet insight. A community member asked Schwartz why someone would spend BTC given its potential for appreciation. Schwartz said it's because of its perceived worth and future aspirations.

The Ripple CTO claims that when people use Bitcoin to buy products and services, they realize its full potential worth now. These people spend Bitcoin immediately rather than waiting for price rises.

Schwartz's comments followed Square co-founder Jack Dorsey's announcement that Bitcoin payments were live on Square's platforms. Dorsey said that Square consumers may now pay for services and goods directly using Bitcoin, and merchants can accept BTC-to-BTC, BTC-to-fiat, and fiat-to-BTC transactions. A user's Square wallet will automatically hold Bitcoin payments, with self-custody transfer restrictions of $15,000 per day or $50,000 per week.

Bitcoin Price to Rise Further

Bitcoin is presently over $100,000, but many expect it to grow higher. The top cryptocurrency is around $103,300, but whale capitulations have caused a roughly 2% drop in 24 hours. Crypto researcher Joe Francesco stated that Bitcoin first rose to $107,000 after US President Donald Trump's $2,000 stimulus package spurred hope.

A few days later, BTC dropped, ending the uptrend. Francesco believes Bitcoin might break $107,000, reach $115,000, or even $120,000 if upward momentum continues despite the setback.
