Despite the share drop, TD Cowen analysts maintain a buy rating, noting managementâs belief that MSTR stock is undervalued compared to Bitcoin. They also cite upcoming catalysts such as potential S&P 500 inclusion and growing political and economic adoption of Bitcoin.
Since starting its BTC strategy in 2020, Strategy has built a massive treasury of 635,893 BTC (â$72.25B), over 10x larger than Bitcoin miner MARAâs holdings.
The firm operates five ATM offerings to raise funds for BTC purchases. According to Mondayâs press release, Strategy still has about $16B remaining in its common stock program and over $30B available across its four preferred stock offerings (STRF, STRK, STRC, STRD).
