I've noticed that the crypto projects I remember years later are rarely the ones that generated the most hype. They're usually the ones trying to solve a real infrastructure problem.

That's why Babylon has been on my radar lately. What interests me isn't the idea of earning rewards on BTC. It's the approach of allowing Bitcoin to help secure PoS networks while remaining self-custodied on the Bitcoin network.

After watching several market cycles, I've become more interested in durable design than short-term narratives. Security, simplicity, and trust tend to outlast excitement.

I'm not saying Babylon has already proven everything. Time is the only real test in crypto. But I appreciate projects that respect Bitcoin's original design instead of trying to force it into becoming something else.

For me, that's a far more interesting discussion than chasing the next trending token.
