🇺🇸🇮🇷 US Escalates Economic Pressure on Iran

🚨 BREAKING: U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has announced plans for what he described as the “toughest sanctions in history” against Iran, as Washington intensifies its economic pressure on Tehran.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf responded by calling the sanctions “unjust” and said Iran must develop a strategy to overcome the growing economic pressure. He also emphasized strengthening economic cooperation and reducing dependence on the U.S. dollar.

The latest escalation marks a major intensification of the U.S.–Iran economic confrontation, with potentially significant consequences for Iran’s economy, global oil markets and regional stability.

🌍 The key question now: Will maximum economic pressure force Tehran toward negotiations—or deepen the confrontation?
