🏦 ETF — the real story of september
This is the story that matters most — and it happened quietly in the final week while most people were focused on the Fed and CLARITY Act drama.
After two days of brutal selling — $450M outflows on CLARITY Act day, $296M more on Fed hike day — institutions did something nobody expected. They came back with $2.39B in a single week — the largest weekly inflow since October 2025. A 7-day consecutive inflow streak from September 17 through September 25 totalled $2.98B. And with that — 2026 ETF YTD flows turned positive for the first time. From -$5.8B in mid-July to positive by end of September. Total ETF AUM reached $108.4B. Corporate treasuries joined in — Strategy bought 950 BTC, Strive bought 1,355 BTC in the same week. 🐋
