If you look at LTC market cap rather than price, every top has been around a market cap of 1000,000 BTC.

Why does the LTC/BTC ratio look like a downtrend then?

Because the supply schedules are out of sync. Litecoin has been increasing its supply faster than Bitcoin!

But now most of the Litecoin supply issuance is also done. So to get to a market cap of 1000BTC, the price will have to go up.

Assuming BTC is $160k in 2025, that means the Litecoin market cap will be $160bn, spread over about 77 million LTC in circulation.

Litecoin is going to $2k

BCH is probably done

If you're buying that I've got a bridge to sell you lol

Actually I just charted this in tradingview. These are the Litecoin and Bitcoin market caps. Note that Litecoin holds a very steady oscillating relationship to Bitcoin in terms of market cap.

But it missed a pump in 2021, which is bad news.

I think given Litecoin's failed bull in 2021 it might be best to limit it to a smaller position.
