According to Jin10, South Korea's Ministry of Economy and Finance plans to reduce government bond issuance in September. Ministry officials said at Monday's primary dealer meeting that total Treasury issuance will be lower than in August, and issuance of 30-year government bonds will also be reduced. Market participants expect September competitive Treasury auctions to total 16.5 trillion to 17 trillion won, including about 2.5 trillion won in 30-year bonds.
