Even though Core Scientific has secured a total leased AI capacity of 1.1 gigawatts, only 437 megawatts of that amount can actually be billed today. This delay is due to their $14 billion, 15-year agreement with AMD, which is not scheduled for deployment until 2027. On the other hand, Filecoin storage is fully deployed right now. As a result, Filecoin does not experience any gap between its leased and billable capacity.
