Deribit Got Coinbase Liquidity. Now the Merger Starts Looking Useful. 🔗 Deribit just secured a Broker-Dealer Licence from Dubai’s VARA, and this one actually changes the product: spot orders on Deribit can now be routed directly to Coinbase Exchange for execution. Deribit has offered spot trading under its VARA licence since January 2025, but connecting to Coinbase’s centralized orderbook means potentially deeper liquidity, tighter spreads, and access to hundreds of additional assets. The existing Deribit orderbook stays for selected pairs and as a fallback. The more interesting part is what happens after execution. Assets bought through the upgraded spot product could be used as collateral for derivatives on Deribit, pending regulatory approval. Spot liquidity feeding directly into one of crypto’s biggest derivatives venues - that's where the integration gets interesting. ⚙️ 📌 Available to Retail, Qualified & Institutional investors 📌 Deribit HQ has operated under VARA supervision since early 2025 📌 New spot product is rolling out immediately Coinbase bought the derivatives machine. Deribit got the liquidity pipe. Turns out M&A can occasionally produce something besides a press release. 🙂 #BTC Price Analysis# #Bitcoin Price Prediction: What is Bitcoins next move?#
