According to Iranian MP Majid Doustali:
• "Iran will never reopen the Strait of Hormuz" under continued U.S. pressure.
• Tehran accused Washington of trying to control global oil flows, saying the U.S. wants "no drop of oil to move without its oversight."
• Iran warned that keeping the Strait closed would have "devastating consequences" for global energy markets and claimed the U.S. would ultimately suffer the most.
This comes after days of speculation that a Hormuz deal was imminent.
