BlockBeats News, July 30th - The World Gold Council released the "Gold Demand Trends Q2 2026" report, which revealed that the global gold demand remained flat year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026 at 1269 tons, as the gold price retraced from its historic highs earlier in the year. The first half of the year saw a 2% year-on-year increase in global gold demand to 2522 tons, equivalent to approximately $3.8 trillion.
