According to Odaily, Bryan Pellegrino, the co-founder and CEO of LayerZero, has announced that addresses mistakenly reported as 'witch' addresses can appeal through a form submission. Previously, LayerZero Labs had stated that the self-reporting phase for witches had ended. Each eligible address would receive 15% of its expected token allocation, with the remaining 85% being returned to qualified users. Ultimately, 803,093 addresses were identified as potential witch addresses. The team will continue to refine and improve their methods over the next two weeks during the bounty hunting process. The initial list will not be updated during this time and will not affect bounty hunters. The final witch list will be announced after the bounty hunt ends on May 31.
In addition, the related page shows that LayerZero has collected 2,312 witch reports, of which 608 have been reviewed and 1,704 are still in the review stage. The witch bounty event began at 10:00 on May 18, Beijing time. Bounty reports will be cut off at 07:59 on June 1, Beijing time, and must contain at least 20 addresses. Bounty hunters who successfully report witches will receive 10% of the witch's expected token allocation, while the witch will receive no allocation.
