According to Odaily, the Fantom ecosystem's decentralized exchange (DEX), Equalizer, has been targeted by a hacker attack. The hacker has so far stolen approximately 2353 EQUAL tokens and other cryptocurrencies from users. The hacker's wallet was established 222 days ago and has been continuously receiving funds from the victims of the theft.
The attack began around 12:10 on May 14, resulting in 2500 SpookySwap liquidity tokens (spLP) being drained, leading to the theft of many other tokens from users. The stolen tokens include 2353 EQUAL, 510,579 FantomStarter (FS), 2500 spLP, 6 million AnyInu (AI), 985,565 ChillPill (CHILL), 50,000 WigoSwap (WIGO), and 25 multiDEUS (DEUS).
As per the latest data, the price of EQUAL is currently $8.87, showing a 24-hour drop of 8.8%.
