According to Foresight News, Kain Warwick, the founder of Synthetix, announced at Sydney's ETH Global that the decentralized perpetual contract exchange, Infinex, will officially launch on May 13. This marks the 'account activation' phase, during which Infinex users will be able to access their self-hosted accounts on the platform.
Warwick stated that the May 13 launch date was his proposal, which has been submitted to the Synthetix protocol management DAO. However, the launch still requires approval through on-chain voting. The founder's announcement indicates a significant step towards the decentralization of financial exchanges, with Infinex users gaining control over their own accounts.
