As Binance prepares to exit the Russian market via a sale to CommEX, the platform has announced it will discontinue all services tied to the Russian Rouble (RUB) as of early February 2024.

Affected Binance users are being encouraged to trade their RUB assets into other available assets on Binance, convert their RUB into crypto using Binance Convert, or withdraw their RUB through Binance’s fiat partners prior to the cessation of these RUB services.

As of 2024-02-01 08:00 UTC, any remaining RUB balances in users’ Binance accounts will be automatically converted to FDUSD, based on the real-time exchange rate on xe.com.

Binance’s spot trading services will delist all existing RUB spot trading pairs (BTC/RUB and USDT/RUB) at 2024-01-30 08:00 UTC, and any open spot orders with respect to the above trading pairs will be automatically closed when trading ceases in the relevant pairs.

Certain other Binance services, including Binance Convert and Binance Pay, will delist all RUB trading pairs and remove RUB from the list of supported fiat currencies respectively, both as of 2024-01-30 08:00 UTC.

Fiat withdrawals for RUB will be available until 2024-01-31 00:00 UTC, and Binance Fiat will stop supporting RUB on the Buy Crypto and Sell Crypto services at 2024-01-30 07:00 UTC.

Finally, Binance's P2P trading will delist all RUB trading pairs at 2024-01-31 00:00 UTC.
