Binance is the pioneer in offering pre-market trading for Scroll's native token, SCR, ahead of its launch. Scroll is a well-known Ethereum Layer 2 network. Users will be able to trade SCR prior to its official spot market launch, according to Tuesday's statement.
Users can take part in Binance's Launchpool farming event starting October 9th. During this event, they can stake BNB and FDUSD to farm SCR tokens. For farming pools, Binance has set limits. The most SCR that can be staked in the BNB pool is 97,395 and the most that can be staked in the FDUSD pool is 17,187. For Launchpool rewards, 55 million SCR tokens, or 5.5% of the total amount of 1 billion, will be given out.
What is Scroll (SCR)?
Scroll (SCR) project is a blockchain layer-2 scaling strategy that aims to make Ethereum more scalable. It is Binance's 60th Launchpool project right now, and it was built as a Bytecode-compatible zkEVM Rollup.
Through the utilization of zero-knowledge proofs, it improves the scalability of Ethereum while also preserving complete compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). This indicates that it is capable of carrying out Ethereum smart contracts without compromising speed, security, or compatibility on any aspect.
In order to function, #Scroll makes use of zk-Rollups, which is a Layer 2 scaling solution that was developed with the intention of reducing congestion on the Ethereum mainnet. Multiple transactions can be consolidated into a single transaction, which is subsequently sent to the Ethereum network. This feature is accessible.
The load on Ethereum is reduced, and transactions are processed faster and with cheaper fees. Without compromising security, the main goal is to enhance the Ethereum user experience generally.
Using zk-Rollups, Scroll makes sure that transactions can be checked on the Ethereum mainnet even if they are handled off-chain. By doing this, there is a balance between trust and speed. With lower fees and faster transactions, this makes decentralized applications (dApps) easier to use and cheaper for you.
Scroll is for everyone, everywhere.
Here’s how Scroll making a difference in the ecosystem:

Scrolls' ZkEVM provides a wide range of features, including the following:
Scalability:
It enhances scalability by processing more transactions off-chain. This
reduces network congestion, allowing you to experience faster
transaction times.Bytecode Compatibility: It offers full compatibility with Ethereum, enabling developers to migrate projects effortlessly.
Cost-Efficiency:
By bundling multiple transactions together, the network fees are
minimized, making it more affordable for you to use dApps and other
services.Security:
The use of zk-Rollups ensures that all transactions processed off-chain
are still verifiable on-chain. This means that even though the system
is optimized for speed, it does not compromise the security of your
transactions.
Finally, Scroll (SCR) seems like a good way to fix Ethereum's scale problems by using zk-Rollups. Its major goals are to lower transaction fees, make the system more scalable, and keep security high. This makes it a good project for you. Binance Launchpool lets you stake cryptocurrencies like BNB and FDUSD to get SCR tokens.
