RockX, Babylon 0, Babylon 1, and Altlayer are named actors on the testnet right now. Not hypothetical roles actual named entities running specific jobs. @BabylonLabs_io

RockX runs as a Vault Provider Babylon 0 and Babylon 1 operate as Application Vault Keepers. Altlayer runs the Universal Challenger. Four named parties four different jobs, all on testnet none of them holding custody of anyones BTC.

Not saying named testnet actors mean the mainnet set looks the same. Testnet participants are usually there to validate the design not to represent the final operator lineup.$BABY

Not saying its meaningless either. Having real named organizations running these roles right now rather than the whitepapers abstract a Vault Provider language is a concrete signal that the four actor model actually functions with distinct entities in distinct jobs not just on paper.

Altlayer running the Universal Challenger specifically stands out. Thats the role watching every claim across every application and disputing fraud giving it to an entity with existing infrastructure credibility says something about who Babylon trusts with the most adversarial job in the system.

What I have Not worked out is whether any of these four named testnet actors are expected to continue in the same roles at mainnet, or whether testnet participation and mainnet operator selection are treated as fully separate processes.
