Backed is operating under the Swiss DLT act, and has issued a number of tokenized assets including treasury ETFs, corporate bond ETFs, and equities such as S&P 500 ETF.
The blB01 tokens track the investment results of a short-term iShares treasury bond ETF, and can be purchased by investors and licensed resellers who have passed KYC (know-your-customer) and AML (anti-money-laundering) processes.
