As a result, markets expect the next Fed Chair to be more aligned with Trump’s preference for lower rates and faster growth. He has strong central banking experience. Kevin Hassett A long-time Trump economic adviser and current White House official. He is respected by economists ,less politically aligned with Trump, which may reduce his chances. Michelle Bowman The Fed’s Vice Chair for Supervision.
