Stripe said on November 5 that eligible US Samsung Wallet users can now purchase USDC through Stripe using Samsung Pay, payment cards or ACH bank payments. The service's stated reach of 82 million US Galaxy devices represents compatible hardware. Users must be at least 18 and reside in a supported US jurisdiction, excluding New York. Opening an account is free, but funding, sending and withdrawal fees vary and appear before transaction confirmation. Samsung says Bastion supplies the custodial wallet, with Coinbase providing institutional custody for USDC under an arrangement with Bastion.
