Airdrops have been a means of participating in a project and getting rewarded since the advent of cryptocurrencies. In this article, I offer a list of over 70 airdrops to consider, with a focus on the most serious projects.
Before beginning your hunt for airdrops, here are some important tips to consider: Avoid following the crowd by participating in the most popular airdrops. It is often more advantageous to seek out lesser-known airdrops and stay informed about upcoming DeFi projects. Try to anticipate the release dates of airdrops by following the news and social media of DeFi projects. Many projects can conduct an airdrop, so try to identify the potential gains of each airdrop by calculating the ratio between funds raised, hype level, technology used, and number of project users. This will help you determine whether participating in the airdrop is worthwhile. Don't neglect security. Participation in airdrops can involve risks, particularly in terms of security. Make sure to take necessary precautions and never disclose personal information or private keys. I purposely do not provide links to avoid the risk of being mistaken about one of the projects, so go to the networks and use multiple sources to ensure that you are on official pages. Based on these tips, the groups are ranked in order of importance:
Group 1: The new blockchains. For me, this is the most important group, ideally try to interact with all these protocols:
1- Optimism (3rd airdrop)
2-Starknet Zkzync
3-Aztec
4-Scroll
5-Arbitrum (2nd airdrop)
6-Arbitrum Nova
7-Sui Layer
8-Zero Sei
9-Zetachain
10-Fuel
11-Shardeum
12-5ire
Group 2: Ethereum applications. It will cost you in network fees, but on the other hand, the number of users is limited, and generally, these airdrops are more generous than on the layer 2s. For Opensea and Metamask, I think one of the criteria will be the fees spent on Ethereum:
1-Opyn
2-Metamask
3-Opensea
4-Sherlock
5-Clipper
6-Gem
7-Foundation
8-Zora
9-Matcha
Group 3: Arbitrum applications. There has been a distribution of Arbitrum to applications with a DAO, which can give ideas to applications without a DAO. In this sense, for me, applications on the Arbitrum network are interesting:
1-Abord
2-Predy
3-Rage
4-Dolomite
5-Shell
6-Odos
7-Slingshot
8-Sentiment
9-Bebop
10-Nftperp
11-Dzap
Group 4: Starknet/Zksync applications. The essential thing in this group is to maximize your chances for the Starknet and Zksync airdrops and hope to get some bonus airdrops:
1-ZK era bridge official
2-Starknet bridge official
3-Starknet id
4-JediSwap
5-MySwap
6-10KSwap
7-RabbitX
8-ZKasino
9-Briq NFT
10-Aspect
11-Mesprotocol
12-Mint Square
13-Nostra finance
14-Xbank
Group 5: Optimism applications, there should be other Optimism airdrops, the idea here is also to try to maximize your chances and hope to receive some bonus airdrops:
1-Mirror
2-Pika
3-Quix
4-Mean
5-Withbacked
6-Defisaver
7-Punk Domain
8-Granary
Group 6: Bridges, Hop/across, hashflow have done their airdrop, I think there will be more airdrops on the bridge side:
1-Orbiter
2-Bungee
3-Chainhop
4-Chainhop Transferto / lifi
Group 7: Wallet trackers are becoming more and more reliable, I expect airdrops in 2023 from:
1-Debank
2-Zerion
3-Nansen
4-Zapper
Here is the famous list, but be aware that this is not investment advice⚠️
