AEON announced integration with Kenya's mobile payment platform M-Pesa, allowing users to pay with crypto assets while merchants receive settlement in Kenyan shillings. According to ChainCatcher, AEON said its settlement network covers more than 50 million merchants worldwide and is extending AI Agent settlement capabilities to more local payment systems so transactions can be completed through users' everyday payment networks with merchants receiving local fiat settlement.
