Took me a while to get this straight.

Tokenizing an asset is just wrapping it. Slapping a token on something that already exists somewhere else, on paper, in a registry, wherever.

Native issuance is different. The asset IS the onchain record. Not a copy. Not a wrapper. The legal thing itself, born there.

I used to think tokenized RWAs were the endgame. Now I think most of them are just digital shadows of the real asset sitting in some office.
