One aspect of Dusk that I find particularly interesting is how its XSC standard approaches privacy for regulated assets.
For institutional finance, putting real-world assets on-chain is only part of the challenge. The bigger question is how these assets can remain compliant and auditable without exposing sensitive ownership, transaction, and settlement information to everyone.
That’s where Dusk’s Confidential Security Contract Standard becomes interesting to me. By combining shielded transactions, zero-knowledge proofs, and selective disclosure, the idea is to make confidential on-chain activity possible while still allowing authorized participants to verify the information they actually need.
This could be especially relevant for tokenized bonds, private-market assets, and other regulated financial instruments where transparency has to be balanced with confidentiality.
I’m not looking at $DUSK purely from a price perspective. I’m more interested in whether the technology can translate into real issuer activity, liquidity, settlement volume, and institutional usage over time.
The architecture is one thing; proving that it can support meaningful financial infrastructure is the bigger test.
That’s why #dusk remains an interesting project to watch as regulated finance continues moving toward blockchain infrastructure.
