Binance Futures has updated margin tiers of the BTC USDT-Margined contracts on 2021-06-22 at 3:30 AM (UTC) with new leverage and margin tiers as reflected in the table below. Position value and maintenance margin will be adjusted in each tier. Existing positions opened before the updates will be affected. It is strongly advised to adjust the position and leverage in order to avoid any potential liquidation.
It is important to note that the maintenance margin change will directly affect liquidation price. Users who held existing positions of the above USDT-Margined Contracts will be affected. To avoid being liquidated (i.e. margin ratio hits 100%), please add more margin to your USDT-M Futures account or reduce your positions. It is recommended to control the margin ratio below 80%.
