Binance Will Support the PIVX (PIVX) and Band Protocol (BAND) Network Upgrades & Hard Forks

Fellow Binancians,
Binance will support the PIVX (PIVX) and Band Protocol (BAND) network upgrades & hard forks.
  • The PIVX (PIVX) network upgrade & hard fork will take place at PIVX block height of 2,927,000, or at approximately 2021-07-10 15:00 (UTC). Deposits and withdrawals of PIVX will be suspended starting from 2021-07-10 14:00 (UTC).
  • The Band Protocol (BAND) network upgrade & hard fork will take place at Band Protocol mainnet block height of 7,486,289, or at approximately 2021-07-13 11:00 (UTC). Deposits and withdrawals of BAND will be suspended starting from approximately 2021-07-13 10:00 (UTC).
Please note:
  • The PIVX (PIVX) network upgrade & hard fork will happen at PIVX block height of 2,927,000. The estimated time is for users’ reference only and is subject to change depending on block propagation times. Please refer to PIVX block explorer for more information.
  • The Band Protocol (BAND) network upgrade & hard fork will take place at Band Protocol mainnet block height of 7,486,289. The estimated time is for users’ reference only and is subject to change depending on block propagation times.
  • The trading of PIVX and BAND will not be affected during the upgrade.
  • Binance will handle all technical requirements involved for all users holding PIVX and BAND in their Binance accounts.
  • The PIVX and BAND network upgrades & hard forks will not result in new tokens being created.
  • We will reopen deposits and withdrawals for PIVX and BAND once we deem the upgraded networks to be stable, and we will not notify users in a further announcement.
