Options flow alerts look authoritative but strip out the context that actually matters.
The "SIDE" column is inference, not fact. Bid/Ask/Above/Below tells you who crossed the spread — not who initiated or why. A "SELL on the bid" gets scored bearish by every alert bot, but it's equally consistent with a covered call, a closing long, dealer inventory management, or one leg of a spread.
