The matter depends on the nature of the company's work because the goal is one, which is to achieve profit,
For the company that produces what benefits people did not produce it for the benefit of people first but to achieve profit, and likewise, those that produce weapons did not produce them to kill people first but to achieve profit. There are also state-owned companies that spend billions of dollars from the general budget on a specific product of weapons so that this state can control another state or states to take its resources, and thus its goal is also profit.
The strange thing is that trillions of dollars are wastefully spent on weapon production while the returns from profits are hardly mentioned, not to mention causing death, pain, and suffering to people.
So what if this money were spent in a direction that benefits people?
The answer is: with a small part of what is spent on the arms industry, we could completely eliminate poverty for all people, and the rest would propel humanity forward in leaps and bounds in scientific and technological advancement and the well-being of humans all over the world.
