$KORU 🚨 Folks, be careful with what you read on Square.
I saw a lot of people saying that KORU collapsed, going from US$498 to US$22, and that it was a historic crash. That didn’t happen.
What occurred was a 20-for-1 stock split of the ETF.
In other words:
➡️ Before: 1 share was worth about US$500. ➡️ After: 1 share became worth about US$25, but anyone who already had a position ended up with 20 times more shares.
Binance even temporarily paused trading to apply that adjustment. So a price around US$22 doesn’t mean the asset lost 95% of its value.
What caught my attention most was seeing people state with absolute certainty that KORU had broken, when all it took was searching for a few minutes to find the official announcement.
Moral of the story: before buying out of FOMO or selling out of panic, it’s worth spending five minutes doing some research. In the market, information is very valuable, and believing everything you see on Square can end up being expensive.
⚠️ Alert and attention… The announcement is about delisting in Margin/Loan — not a full delisting of the coin from the exchange. Translating: leave Margin leave Loan this does not confirm removal from spot this does not confirm removal from futures In other words, $TST continues normally in spot and futures on Binance. Read the announcement carefully before spreading FUD.
$CHIP always as expected triggered the FOMO, folks jumped in thinking it would hit 0.12 - 0.13 or even 0.20, then the whales dumped. In the end, everyone knows the value of a coin like this is less than 0.01 within a week or so.
