⛏️ Free NFT. What I care more about is: what can you do after claiming it?

Agent Pioneers has an interesting idea. Pioneers aren't just profile pictures—they can be placed in a mine to accumulate ORE. Two of the same tier can be combined to upgrade, increasing the computing power of one card, while the other is destroyed. At least they're not just something you mint and leave sitting in your wallet while you wait for news.

The Genesis collection has 20,000 NFTs in total, including a free mint pool of 10,000. If you're eligible and spots are still available, you can mint 1 for free. Complete the posting task on the official website to claim 3 more. Note that “free” doesn't include gas fees. After submitting your mint, you'll also need to follow the prompts to reveal it.

If you have your own Agent, it's worth a look too. The project has prepared machine-readable documentation, so you don't have to rely on people alone to search the website for instructions.

More exploration, ORE uses, and Genesis member benefits are planned for the future, but we'll have to wait and see how these plans are implemented. I think it's best to first understand what's currently available, then decide whether to participate. There's no need to rush into paying right away.

Why do so many NFT projects lose their buzz right after minting?
The end of minting doesn’t mean the ecosystem can last. New players have no reason to join, and holders have no use cases for their NFTs, so the buzz naturally fades over time.
I recently came across Agent Pioneers (AGP), which takes a somewhat different approach:
🎁 A total supply of 20,000 cards, with 10,000 available for free; each wallet can claim 1 free card, then complete tasks to post, like, and follow to claim 3 more, for a maximum of 4 free cards.
🔥 The cards don’t just sit idle after minting: combining cards of the same or different levels consumes them. Slots freed up when cards are burned can return to circulation through paid reminting, giving later participants a chance to join.

Why do many NFT projects lose momentum right after minting? Once minting ends, there’s no reason for new players to join and no ongoing use for the NFTs.

AGP gives players cards they can keep using:
