$BTC $ETH $LAB I couldn't sleep last night, sharing the best altcoin strategies out there. I dare say I'm the only one in the whole space who knows this stuff, or at least I'm the only one willing to share it. If anyone doubts my charts, just name a coin, and I can show you my live trades. If it weren't for my high-risk bets and the losses on meme coins, I would have already broken even.
Everyone knows altcoins can go to zero, shorting them is a guaranteed win, but they don't know how to execute it. Every time they short, they easily get trapped. Once trapped, they blame everything, cry out, and end up opening both long and short positions chaotically, leading to a mental breakdown, and the final result is always the same: it goes to zero, and they have to start over. I've gone through this cycle many times myself.
Actually, shorting altcoins is quite simple: First, stay away from popular altcoins; avoid any that make it to the top 10 trending lists, steer clear. Second, avoid coins with concentrated holdings; these are controlled by whales, and anyone who touches them gets wrecked. Third, stay away from new coins; new coins are usually popular and have concentrated holdings, so definitely don't short them.
What kind of altcoins are best for shorting? First, those with very low trading volumes; these coins are generally abandoned by whales, who can't even be bothered to market-make. Second, coins that have been in a long-term downtrend; don’t be afraid of them dropping too much; a coin that has dropped 99% can drop another 99%. These two types of coins are basically a sure bet when shorting, but there's a critical downside: it takes a long time to make money, as you have to wait for them to slowly drop.
Like everyone else, I want to make quick profits; waiting around is just too boring, so I found a third type of coin to short: old coins with dispersed holdings that are trending upwards daily. Remember, they must be old coins, listed for over two years, with absolutely dispersed holdings. Once these coins start to rally, entering a consolidation phase or downtrend means it's time to short; they will not only drop back to their original positions but will go even lower.
The last point, and the most important one, is to set a stop-loss; set it around 50 to 100 points above the entry. It’s not about being afraid of a big loss, it’s about managing the small ones; you must accept losses when necessary, don’t hold onto losing positions. The rest is about learning to befriend time; you don't need to close positions, yes, you heard that right, no need to close positions. Let them slowly drop, and you’ll slowly profit. After making money, remember to withdraw your contracts and place the funds in spot or capital accounts; don’t put all your eggs in one basket.
