This can make the on-chain economy driven by INJ more powerful, and the destruction auction can now extract value from all dApps in the Injective ecosystem. Injective's token burning auction will collect protocol fees and convert them into the collective value of the protocol. During the weekly burning event, each trading dApp will put 60% of its transaction fees into the auction basket, providing community members with the opportunity to compete for the full revenue of the week through bidding. The fees paid for the auction basket are burned after the auction ends, reducing the overall token supply. dApps can also increase the percentage of fees used for burning on their own, even up to 100%.
