According to Reuters reporter Luc Cohen, U.S. Bureau of Prisons records show that SBF is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, New York.

On August 11, local time, Judge Lewis Kaplan revoked SBF's bail. MDC is a controversial prison that has long been involved in scandals of abuse of prisoners and corruption, according to Cointelegraph. Currently, MDC holds more than 1,500 prisoners. SBF is expected to be held here for two months until his criminal trial in October.

Regarding SBF’s detention at the MDC, Adam Cochran, partner at Cinneamhain Ventures and crypto KOL, commented, “This will break him down, and he may plead guilty within a few days.”
