According to Deep Trend TechFlow news, the EOS Network Foundation calls on the EOS community to reject a settlement agreement with Block.one. The Foundation believes that the proposed settlement is not in the best interest of the EOS network and the community as a whole.

The settlement fails to adequately compensate community members for the losses they have suffered as a result of Block.one’s misrepresentations and bad conduct and deprives class members of their right to seek fair and equitable resolution of their claims in the future. Under the terms of the settlement, community members who joined the settlement will be barred from making any future claims against Block.one and its founders, and Block.one will pay $22 million.

Notably, Block.one raised $4 billion from the community in its ICO sale but did not fulfill its promise to invest $1 billion in the EOS network and community. Community members have until August 29, 2023 to opt out of the settlement or may be automatically included in the class action lawsuit.
