Odaily Planet Daily News: In order to prevent attacks on Aave's CRV liquidity pool, the proposal to freeze low-liquidity pools released by the Aave Governance Forum last Wednesday (November 23) has been executed. The execution was completed on November 27, involving 17 low-liquidity asset pools on Aave v2, namely: YFI, CRV, ZRX, MANA, 1INCH, BAT, sUSD, ENJ, GUSD, AMPL, RAI, USDP, LUSD, xSUSHI, DPI, renFIL and MKR. The previous short-selling of CRV caused Aave to generate approximately US$1.6 million in bad debts. Although Aave stated that it had sufficient funds to make up for the losses, the protocol hopes to avoid such incidents from happening again by deactivating low-liquidity asset pools. (The Defiant)
