According to Reuters, the Central Bank of Brazil announced on Monday that the digital currency planned to be launched next year will be named DREX, aiming to use the currency to promote financial services. The central bank expects the adoption of Brazil's digital currency to be implemented after the testing phase is completed by the end of 2024.
