WHAT IS IO.NET?
Io.net is a decentralized AI cloud computing platform built on the Solana infrastructure. By aggregating GPU supply from underutilized sources, io.net creates a network that allows artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) companies to access Virtually unlimited computing power at a fraction of the cost of traditional cloud computing.

FEATURES OF IO.NET
- Batch Inference and Model Serving: Calculations on incoming batches of data can be performed in parallel. This enables machine learning models to build computational pipelines and provide model services through io.net.
- Parallel Training: The project leverages decentralized computational libraries to coordinate and train data so that they can be executed in parallel on multiple devices.
- Parallel hyperparameter tuning: The project leverages decentralized algorithm libraries with parameter tuning to save the best results, optimize scheduling, and simply specify search patterns.
- Reinforcement learning: io.net uses open source reinforcement learning library to support operational process management.
I TOKEN
IO is the native utility token of io.net and is used in the following functions:
Payment Currency : Payments and transaction fees in the io.net ecosystem, such as purchasing/provisioning underutilized GPU computing power, deploying GPU clusters.
Staking: : Users can participate in network security and earn idle GPU rewards by:
Authorize staking of IO tokens with notes of their choice.
Directly stake more IO tokens to operate on a private node.
Governance: The IO token allows holders to participate in the governance of the IO Grants DAO by proposing, voting, and implementing grant proposals that guide capital allocation and the strategic direction of the Internet of GPUs Foundation.

The Series A round was led by Hack VC with participation from Multicoin Capital, 6th Man Ventures, M13, Delphi Digital, Solana Labs, Aptos Labs, Foresight, Amber, Longhash, SevenX, ArkStream, Animoca Brands, Continue Capital, MH Ventures and Sandbox Games, io.net raised $30 million.
io.net has raised $40 million in two private sales rounds, with the most recent valuation being $1 billion. This represents 36.24% of supply and 22.65% of maximum supply.
