EdgeCloud Collaborates with AWS for Theta Edge Node Deployment Blueprints
EdgeCloud is thrilled to announce the availability of Theta Edge Node development and deployment blueprints on AWS Blockchain Node Runners. This significant step aligns Theta with other major blockchain platforms such as Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL), positioning it as a pivotal Web 3.0 hub supporting scalable smart contracts and distributed blockchain nodes.
This collaboration with AWS integrates Thetaâs robust network of over 30,000 globally distributed edge nodes, boasting more than 80 Petaflops of GPU computational power, with AWSâs leading on-demand cloud computing platform. The result is a highly scalable, enterprise-scale infrastructure that is now even more accessible to both Theta community members and enterprise customers.

Ease of Deployment: With minimal technical effort, users can deploy a Theta edge node or an Elite edge node on AWS by leveraging the blueprint available in the AWS Blockchain Node Runners repository.Maximized Uptime and Earnings: Nodes can now achieve 100% uptime and optimize edge node TFUEL earnings.
Following the launch of Theta EdgeCloud on May 1, the first hybrid cloud-edge computing platform for AI, video, rendering, gaming, and more, the Theta edge network is expected to expand significantly. Edge nodes are capable of executing a variety of computation jobs, including AI/deep learning model training and inference, video transcoding, relaying, and 3D rendering. By running a node, participants can contribute CPU and GPU computational and bandwidth resources to earn TFUEL token rewards.
According to AWS documentation, âAWS Blockchain Node Runners is an open-source initiative aimed at simplifying the deployment of self-managed blockchain nodes. This initiative was kick-started by the AWS Solutions Architects with the goal of sharing deployment blueprints and infrastructure setups that can help address the common challenges faced by customers running nodes on the AWS cloud.â
Node Runner blueprints are infrastructure as code applications that facilitate the deployment of blockchain nodes in various configurations, including solo nodes and, in the future, highly available setups using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) and TypeScript. These blueprints offer a turnkey solution for individuals, data centers, cloud computing platforms, and global companies to join the Theta edge network easily.
