According to reports from Japanese media CoinPost, Binance Japan Co., Ltd plans to open cryptocurrency exchange services, also known as spot trading services, in August. It is expected to provide exchange of 34 Canadian currencies against Japanese yen, and Binance’s exchange tokens BNB will be listed in Japan for the first time.

・Number one in the number of stocks traded since launch → Due to listing regulations, they will prioritize stocks traded on other exchanges that can be listed the fastest, and will likely actively add new stocks that take a little time (listing rules have been improved, so this is strategically possible) ・No leveraged trading → Depends on the intention to obtain a type 1 gold license (licensing issue) pic.twitter.com/KSSj6TYEA9

Binance acquired 100% of the equity of Sakura Exchange BitCoin (SEBC), a Japanese crypto-asset trading platform service provider, in November last year, officially entering the Japanese market and accepting supervision from the Japan Financial Services Agency (JFSA).
SEBC, headquartered in Tokyo, previously supported 11 trading pairs against the Japanese currency, namely: BTC, ETH, BCH, XRP, LTC, ETC, XEM, MONA, ADA, XYM and COT.
Now Binance Japan will open the exchange of 34 added currencies against Japanese yen, and Binance’s exchange token BNB will also be listed in Japan for the first time.
According to CoinPost’s survey, the number of currencies listed by Japan’s main competitors are:
Bitbank: 30 coins
GMO Coin: 26 coins
Coincheck: 22 currencies
As a result, Binance has become the number one exchange in Japan in terms of the number of coins processed at launch.
However, since providing margin trading (i.e. margin trading) services in Japan requires a strict "Class 1 Financial Instruments Business" license, Binance is not expected to provide margin trading in the short term.
In addition, Binance Japan also plans to provide Simple Earn (deposit cryptocurrencies and earn interest) and NFT markets, as well as "automatic buying" and "API connection" functions to meet the needs of investors and traders.
