According to CryptoSlate, IoTeX announced the launch of W3bstream Devnet, an infrastructure designed to provide developers with a cost-effective way to build DePIN for various sectors such as business, consumer, and industry.
DePIN refers to the fusion of traditional physical infrastructure systems with decentralized technologies. This innovative concept integrates blockchain and other dApps with physical systems and networks such as energy grids, supply chains, transportation or wireless networks.
Several DePIN projects will take advantage of W3bstream. These include Uber’s Web3 competitor Drife and green energy initiative React Network. Both projects are part of the launch partners for W3bstream’s Devnet version.
