[Worldcoin releases security audit report, saying most issues have been fixed] Golden Finance reported that Worldcoin released a security audit report stating that starting in April 2023, audit firms Nethermind and Least Authority conducted two separate security audits on the protocol. Nethermind focused on auditing the protocol's smart contracts, including the World ID contract, the World ID state bridge, the World ID sample airdrop contract, the Worldcoin token (WLD) grant contract, and the WLD ERC-20 token contract and its associated attribution wallet. Of the 26 items that appeared during this security assessment, 92.6% (24 items) were determined to have been fixed after the verification phase, while one item was mitigated and the remaining one was confirmed. Least Authority found three issues and made six recommendations, all of which "have been resolved or are planned to be resolved." Least Authority stated: "We found that the cryptographic components of the Worldcoin protocol are generally well designed and implemented."
