#Tesla announced today that it will begin accepting Dogecoin (DOGE) as a form of payment for its electric vehicles and clean energy-related products.
The decision was announced via an update to the FAQ section of Tesla's website, where the company detailed that customers will be able to select DOGE as a payment option when purchasing eligible products, as long as they have a Dogecoin wallet for transfer.
“When checking out with Dogecoin, the payment page will display your Tesla Dogecoin wallet 'address' in an alphanumeric code and a QR code form for you to connect to your Dogecoin wallet to transfer Dogecoin.”, says the Tesla website .
